How the free pilot works

1

Tell us your email, restaurant name, and role. It takes about a minute.

2

Upload 2 invoices

From the same supplier, a few weeks apart (for example, one from early last month and your latest one). A PDF or a phone photo works. Only have one? Send it and add the second later. No invoice handy? We'll email you a link to upload later.

3

Get your price check

We'll send a simple report showing readable price increases, pack-size changes, fees found, and any lines we could not confidently compare.

The product we're testing: set it once, then it runs automatically

The planned FoodCostWatch experience is simple: complete a one-time setup so supplier invoices can flow in automatically. After that, FoodCostWatch keeps monitoring them and surfaces price changes without you remembering to upload or compare invoices each week.

Pre-launch note: that automation is not built yet. This free pilot uses manual invoice submission so we can first prove restaurants want the outcome.

Ready for your free price check?

This is a pre-launch pilot, not a finished subscription product. There is no charge for the price check.

Frequently asked questions

What is this?

FoodCostWatch is a pre-launch pilot for a restaurant price-monitoring service designed to become automatic after a one-time setup. During this test, reports are prepared with the help of AI tools and may contain errors.

Is the price check free?

Yes. The pilot price check is free. There is no subscription charge during this test.

What happens to my invoices?

Invoices are kept private, used only to prepare your price check and evaluate this pilot, never sold or shared for advertising, and deleted within 90 days. To prepare your report, we may use third-party AI services to help read invoices, chosen because their published policies or commitments say customer content isn't used to train general-purpose AI models. We don't use your invoices to train our own AI models. You may black out bank details, account numbers, payment information, or anything not needed to compare items and prices. See the Privacy Policy.

Will I have to keep sending invoices manually?

Not in the planned product. The goal is a one-time setup so future supplier invoices can flow into FoodCostWatch automatically. During this pre-launch pilot, you upload invoices yourself while we validate demand.

Can I email or forward invoices instead?

Not yet. Email forwarding is coming soon. For this pilot, please upload a PDF or a phone photo.

Which suppliers work?

Any distributor or local supplier, as long as the invoices are readable and show item descriptions and prices.

Will it cost money later?

If the product launches, the planned founding price is $49/month. Joining later is optional, and the intended subscription will be cancel-anytime.

Who is behind this?

This is an independent pre-launch product test. Questions can be sent to [email protected]. No sales call is required.
